Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital was established in Medina, Ohio by Dr. Janine Pepin in 1994. We primarily see small animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals. Our services include wellness exams, preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, radiology, senior pet care, nutrition counseling and much more. We carry Purina, Hill's Science Diet, and Royal Canin brand Veterinary Diets if your pet has a special nutritional need.
We have the latest in house laboratory equipment so in those critical moments we have your pet's blood results in about 20 minutes. Our hospital is equipped to take radiographs (x-rays), including dental radiographs.
The occassion may arise when you have to make an end of life decision for your pet. We will guide you through this difficult time. We offer you the choice of coming to the clinic or we can make arrangements to come to your home. Please call us to discuss this sensitive situation.
Our support staff consists of registered veterinary technicians, skillfully trained veterinary assistants and client service personel who pride ourselves on serving the needs of our clients as well as their pet's.
We take full advantage of continuing education classes to keep up with the latest medical advances so that our client's pets receive the best possible care.
We are members of the Medina Chamber of Commerce and take great pride in our community. We are very privileged to provide veterinary care for the Medina Police K-9 Unit. Dr. Pepin also writes an article twice a month in the Medina Gazette newspaper. Our sense of community extends beyond the county lines of Medina. Dr. Pepin and other staff members went down to Louisianna and Mississippi after hurricane Katrina to help in the animal rescue and relief work.
