Jay’s Garage Door Service was founded in 1980 by Jay Harrington, after 3 years doing service and installation for another company in southwest Houston. Originally having started in the Sharpstown and Alief areas, Jay moved to Tomball in 1982. Service and new construction kept Jay busy through the 1980’s in the Tomball, Spring, Bear Creek, and 1960/Hwy 6 areas, and the need soon arose for additional personnel.
Bart Howlett

Bart Howlett joined the company in 1988, and has been instrumental in helping Jay’s Garage Door Service expand in the custom door market.
