About Safety

About Safety is an approachable health and safety consultancy. We specialise in helping small businesses, contractors and education organisations. Many of these organisations haven’t got the budget to employ a trained health and safety manager.

Our objective is to change the face of safety management to make it accessible and user friendly whilst preventing accidents. Our business is not about driving the fear of prosecution, legal battles and claims. We are about guiding small organisations to comply with the law so that they don’t need to be fearful.
If your organisation is working safely you will be protected. Our services are cost effective and we can play as big or small a role as you need us to. Initially we start at a basic level of getting your organisation to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and helping to ensure that you have the best safety controls in place for your particular business. We can help to prepare your safety documents, policies and arrangements for you or review your existing documents. For some companies that is where our involvement relaxes and we are then just on hand to assist from time to time and to give your organisation a yearly ‘check up.’ For others we are available to provide a more ‘hands on’ approach preparing safety documents for particular projects and carrying out risk assessments for example.
