Dr. V Ramcharan, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. V. Ramcharan grew up in a family of respected Dentists and Physicians. He has a passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as this specialty brings together the best of both fields. When he graduated from the world famous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division at the University of Miami, Dr. V was honored as “the senior resident demonstrating the most outstanding attitude, character, and ethics”. The same passion for excellence shows in awards he received at two earlier steps of his education from high school, to college, to Dental School at the University of Florida.

Yes, Dr. V. is both a Florida Gator Dentist and a Miami Hurricane Surgeon. He is well known and trusted in the Central Florida Community. He is actively involved in the American Dental Association, both the American College and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the local and state components of these organizations. Dr. V contributes to the research in Dentistry, in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and in Anesthesiology. He is also well known for his work with the underprivileged in our community. On a personal note, Dr.V. and Mrs.Ramcharan have been married for over 30 years. They are extremely proud of their two beautiful daughters who are accomplished compassionate professionals. He enjoys strength training and is an avid long distance runner.
