Ambient Sound is a Saint Paul recording studio located atop the High Bridge overlooking the Minnesota State Capitol across the Mississippi. Our heritage has grown roots in both Minneapolis and Saint Paul's vibrate music scene for more than three decades. The studio provides Minnesota musicians and business owners stunning audio production along side a friendly client focused experience.

Go all-digital with 48 available live tracks through Protools 9 on a Mac based system interfaced with a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and Yamaha O2R Digital Recording Console. Or take the old school route from the available 24-track, 2 inch, MCI analog tape machine, through the fully automated Yamaha 02R mixing console with Total Recall to 42-bit Pro Tools for computer based editing.

Whatever method suits you, your sound will be reproduced, mixed, and mastered without compromise. With an optimum of 48 live tracks, Ambient Sound offers a professional audio experience in a comfortable and acoustically designed environment.

Owner and Head Engineer, Bob Cain, has worked with a verity of Minnesota musicians, audio engineers, singers, business owners, and members of our local community alike. From heavy metal to pop singers, rap artists to blue grass musicians, gospel choirs and anything in between. All artists and genres are welcome at Ambient Sound. However, our expertise does not stop at music production. Our studio has a history of working with business owners from all lines of work. Have have experience in commercials, voice overs, vinyl digitalization, Podcasts, and even court testimonials.
