• Equine-Assisted Therapy with a Nationally-Certified Doctorate-Level Clinician & Equine Specialist.
• Trauma / Crisis Counseling with Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
• Christian counseling which integrates Biblical principles in the process is also available.

At Counseling Connection of Knoxville, a complete range of counseling services are available. You will find us to be down-to-earth people ready to help you with life's challenges. We also integrate horses into therapy (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) with certain clients, such as children and adolescents with attachment or behavioral problems, as well as adults with a variety of issues with whom this may be an effective alternative to consider. We call this program ESCAPE, which stands for Equine-Supported Clinical Approach to Psychotherapeutic Enrichment. We offer Christian counseling to guide people to healing and restoration who desire a Christ-centered approach. Perhaps you desire individual counseling to address specific concerns, problems or issues in life. If your concerns extend to family members, we also offer couples or family counseling. We have also hosted group sessions for those with similar issues or backgrounds, such as anger management, teenage pregnancy parenting skills, survivors of sexual abuse, and more.
