For 41 years, the physicians in the Bhat family have focused on providing exceptional patient care through management of weight loss, diabetes, endocrinology, sleep medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Naras Bhat is board-certified in internal medicine, sleep medicine, metabolic cardiology, allergy, and immunology. Dr. Naras Bhat and Dr. Jyoti Bhat are additionally board-certified in obesity medicine (weight loss science). Dr. Kusum Bhat holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Certified Biofeedback Specialist. Dr. Anita Bhat and Dr. Jyoti Bhat are board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology & metabolism. Although the clinic was originally created to treat people with diabetes, it became clear that weight loss and weight management were vitally important to deal not only with diabetes but issues like sleep apnea, hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, gut imbalances, food allergies, heart disease, and metabolic disorders. Weight Loss Endocrinology recently opened a second site in Antioch to provide better patient access and serve more people.
