Once again Boise has a historical tour run by a local native who loves both the Boise area and history!
The bonus is: Our trolley is enclosed so that we can operate year round (for when you have those guests during the wintertime), and we have Air Conditioning for those hot summer days. The trolley is also equipped with a wheelchair lift for our friends who require it.
Our tours are fun and well researched to make sure all information is accurate. We offer historical tours, seasonal tours, and special event transportation at affordable rates.

Boise Township Tours offers the following Tours:


Historical Tours Daily (except Sunday)
DAILY HISTORICAL
A minimum 90-minute fact filled, story form, tour of Boise including the Capitol, Old Penitentiary, Hyde Park, Depot, and main parks. Learn about the fascinating, stately, and unusual, people and circumstances that made Boise the wonderful place it is today!

Winter Schedule (Typically Oct. – Apr.): One tour, Mon. – Sat. at 1:30 pm.

Summer Schedule (Typically May – Sept.): As weather warms & daylight hours extend we will add tours to provide 3 tours, Mon. – Sat.: 11:00 am, 1:30 pm. & 6:30 pm.

EXTENDED HISTORICAL SPECIALTY TOUR
For history lovers (aka History Geeks like ourselves). Our minimum 2 hour historical tour which includes everything from our daily tour PLUS all the places we really wanted to show everyone, but had to cut to keep it in a 90-minute time frame.

This is a Specialty Tour, and will require a minimum of 6 people to schedule a tour.

Christmas Lights Tours (Seasonal)
Come join us for about 75 minutes of fun and nonsense while we see magnificent Christmas Lights, accompanied with wonderful music. These people are SERIOUS about decorating for viewing pleasure!
