Calvert Veterinary Center

Calvert Veterinary Center is Pasadena's full-service veterinary facility with a highly trained paraprofessional staff. We have earned the honor of being named Pasadena's Best Veterinarian four years in a row. We are now in our brand new office, which is conveniently located at 4100 Mountain Road, across from the Safeway gas station. We offer state of the art services such as: Laser Surgery, In-House Digital X-Ray with Telemedicine, In-House Laboratory including a blood chemistry machine, Dentistry, Digital Dental X-Ray, Pharmacy including FlavoRx, Digital Ultrasound, and Complete Surgical and Medical Care.

We treat cats, dogs, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters, rats, gerbils, chinchillas, Guinea pigs, and pretty much anything else that has fur. Dr. Lacy Gilmer has just recently joined our staff and has experience with additional species of reptiles, snakes, and birds.


We now offer Cold Laser Therapy as seen on Good Morning America. This is a great way to treat chronic conditions such as arthritis, skin allergies and infections, ear infections, as well as acute conditions such as hot spots, ear infections, injuries and post surgically for decreased healing time. Our goal is to provide you and your pet with high quality, compassionate service. We offer longer appointment times to ensure we can perform a thorough examination on your pet and discuss your pet's health care needs. We also offer early morning drop-offs for those of you who want the convenience of having your pet treated while you are at work.

Please come in to visit our clean and modern facility. We have electronic medical records for each patient which allows us to email records or make a CD for specialist referrals. Xrays can be emailed to specialists for consult or viewed on your own home computer. These electronic records
