Localite Tours

Localite Tours is all about being local everywhere. We lead insightful and tasty tours of the most intriguing neighborhoods – each excursion is about three hours and includes ample food, a cast of local characters, and an expert-told narrative that paints a true sense of place.

By letting each area reveal itself to us, we craft themed narratives that include native people, lost stories, an array of cultural perspectives, and the highest quality foods.

We currently lead tours in Oakland, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer a Pork Tour, a Cocktail Tour, a Maker Tour of things people make by hand, a Picnic Tour, a Dinner Tour, and a Key to the City Tour where we get an overview of Oakland’s historical eras.
