marriage and family therapist Malia Cabral, has two
locations in Hawaii: Kapolei and Wahiawa. Cabral's services are diverse
and in her 11 years of experience in the mental health field, she has
specialized in individuals, couples and family therapy. A
member of the Hawaii Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Cabral's
Oahu Counseling and Wellness Center offers many services for emotional and
behavioral issues. Some treatments offered, include: therapy for depression and anxiety, grief counseling, self-esteem building, stress management,
couples and family counseling, conflict resolution, addiction and recovery,
work and career issues, parenting support. In
addition to family and couples counseling, Cabral also focuses on domestic
violence, codependency, separation counseling, life transitions, and
mood/personality disorders. Throughout her career, she has worked in many
settings from outpatient mental health clinics and domestic violence shelters
to developmental disabled programs for Autistic children and at-risk youth.
