The Howe School Military Academy

The Howe School Military Academy is a traditional college-preparatory boarding school with a military tradition serving grades 6-12. Since 1884, The Howe School has been preparing thousands of young men and women with the leadership skills to complete in a global economy. Our 21st Century leadership development program prepares students through experiences that strengthen their knowledge, develop their character, and fulfill our mission of preparing global leaders.

Students that attend The Howe School Military Academy are intelligent and engaging students who thrive in a structured, focused environment. With an average class size of eight, we provide the individual attention students need to explore their talents and academic potential.

Our cadets live each day by a common code: "I will not lie, steal, or cheat, nor tolerate those who do." Cadets wear military-style uniforms, live in dormitories, and eat in a dining hall. Courtesy, respect for authority, initiative, character, punctuality, and discipline are expected of each cadet. Howe's leadership development program gives our students a competitive edge in a rapidly changing world where success hinges on effective leadership.
