I’m a single mom raising two kids. My ex has been claiming the kids for quite a while. Each year I'd have to deal with the IRS issues and prove they live with me. I’m used to the IRS being a pain. Yesterday I had a visit from an IRS office and today I called them. I’m so glad I did. If I must face this officer by myself, I have no clue what I would have done.
