One of the most popular ways to remove caries today is with the use of our Versawave Erbium-Yag Laser. It is a hard/soft tissue laser that can effectively remove decay without the use of anesthetic. Used primarily for our pediatric patients, it can selectively be used on certain adults also. Nitrous Oxide:

Commonly known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is a safe form of inhalation sedation. Used in combination with oxygen, it is administered thru a scented nosepiece. Onset is rapid and effects dissipate quickly when it is removed. There are no contraindications other than if you have breathing difficulties or are pregnant.
