Woofs Dog Training Center

In 2002, Laura Sharkey purchased an existing dog training business called Pr Dog and renamed it Woofs! Dog Training Center. She continued the Pr Dog positive dog training tradition and added several services in order to help dogs and their owners in as many ways possible. What started out as a small training center has grown into two locations offering dog daycare, dog boarding, obedience, rally and agility classes, private lessons, day school, board and train, puppy socialization and behavior modification. Laura's years of experience taught her that in order to best serve the needs of dogs and their families she needed to provide opportunities for exercise, early socialization, early education and continuing education. When you walk through the doors of Woofs! Dog Training Center you can rest assured that we are here to help you throughout the lifetime of your pet. Woofs! DTC also feels a strong obligation to support our local community. We are proud supporters of the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and many local schools. We partner with the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation by fostering pregnant dogs and whelping and raising the puppies until they are ready to be adopted. Laura also volunteers her time each week teaching a dog training class to the local 4H club. Our community is very important to us.

Our mission at Woofs! is to help dogs and their owners have the best possible relationship and to keep dogs in happy loving homes.
