Marlyn Abramson New Dance Workshop

The repertory Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Irish, and Contemporary Lyrical companies of the New Dance Workshops perform professional choreographed dances throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area in concerts, schools, senior centers and community events. Performances have included Walt Disney World, Six Flags/Great Adventure, Hershey Park, and Self Choreography Concerts. Our twenty-five dance companies afford students the opportunity to express and expand their artistic abilities through their participation in the choreographic process, as well as enhance their dance education. Our dance company students have also performed with the Donetsk Ballet Company from Ukraine in the production of the Nutcracker, most recently in December 2011. Please view video clips on our video page. The dancers have also tap danced at the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia. In February 2013 our dance company students performed in Disney World for our sixth invitational performance. We also offer special programs, including birthday dance parties, preschool enrichment classes in Ballet, Tap, Basic Gymnastics, Jazz and Hip Hop, and dance camps at one of our 4 locations, Lansdale, Jamison, Spring house, and Harleysville.
