Laramie KOA Journey

We will be below freezing temps for the unforeseeable future. If you do not have a heated hose, make sure you have onboard water and leave your hose disconnected when temps are 32 or below. In its early days, Laramie was a rip-roaring railroad town. Today, the University of Wyoming's Western pride shines forth in this small town surrounded by beautiful mountains. Laramie KOA is easily accessible from I-80, and it has more than 100 full-hookup Pull-Thru RV Sites with 30/50-amp service (water restrictions in the winter - please call for details). The campground also offers cozy one-room and two-room Cabins, Premium Tent Sites, and a grassy tent area - all with picnic tables and charcoal grills. Other amenities include a recreation center (open late spring - fall, weather permitting), an off-leash K9 area, a laundry room, satellite TV (in all rows), and limited Wi-Fi. **WE CANNOT GUARANTEE WI-FI DURING YOUR STAY AT THIS TIME.** Laramie KOA understands how the lack of wi-fi can impact your stay with us. We hope that you can enjoy your stay, learn some local history, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors that Wyoming has to offer.  Medicine Bow National Forest is a mecca for hiking, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and mountain biking.  Visit Vedauwoo, a grouping of granite slabs and cliffs, an absolute rock climbers paradise.  Local attractions include the Wyoming Territorial Prison, Lincoln Monument, University of Wyoming, American Heritage Center, Historic Ivinson Mansion, and the Ames Monument.
