UAB Medicine - Hematology/Oncology

Comprehensive clinical treatment of blood and cancer disorders in adults is provided by the Division of Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Medicine.

The Division works closely with the Division of Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology, making a variety of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic modalities available.

The Kirklin Clinic is home to UAB’s nationally ranked cancer program. It has as one of its greatest advantages the presence of general practitioners and specialists from all fields. This unique mix of disciplines makes it easy for physicians to collaborate on diagnoses and treatments.
