A. Michael Blaker is president and CEO of Senior Consultants, which he founded as an independent financial company after seeing too many one-size-fits-all approaches to helping people form retirement income strategies and preserve their estates.
With Senior Consultants, Michael aims to personalize these strategies to each individual or family so that they don’t waste valuable time on planning that won’t work for their particular situations. Michael has life, health and annuity insurance licenses in Arizona and other states, and focuses primarily on helping his clients preserve their assets, minimize taxes and plan for their legacy.
“We believe that to truly succeed, we must know our clients, and always do the right thing for them,” Michael says. “This includes knowing their goals, needs and resources so we can determine the best estate plan possible.”
Several news outlets have featured Michael and his business, notably Pat McMahon on his show on KTAR, the Arizona Republic newspaper and KNFX Independent Talk 1100 radio station. He is also a member of the Better Business Bureau.
Michael’s work is very personal to him, which is underscored by the presence around the office of his family, including his daughter, Jennie, and niece, both of whom play a role in running the company and servicing the firm’s clients. Outside of the office, Michael enjoys spending time taking in a round of golf and traveling.
