Straddling the Santa Fe Trail, this High Plains campground lies minutes from Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site. Costumed interpreters welcome you to the reconstructed adobe-walled trading post. In La Junta, the Koshare Indian Museum houses an impressive collection of Native American art/artifacts. A half hour south, Picketwire Canyon features the largest known trackway of dinosaur footprints in North America.KOA's urban meets country setting is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We have high-speed WiFI!  Get wet and cool off in our swimming pool, or relax in the Rec Room, where you can read, watch TV, play pool, shuffleboard, pinball & arcade games. Take advantage of the laundry room and restrooms.
