In 1945 founder Ben Rosen passed the business to Paul Pecorella and Burt Sarachini. These leading repairmen spearheaded Modern Leather Goods for the next four decades, creating one of the most efficient, attentive, and reliable leather repair service shops in New York City. In 1983 Burt retired and sold his share of the business to Paul’s son Tony. Family-owned and operated, Modern Leather has never lost sight of the integrity and skill that has made them so popular.
