Business founder Amos Kauffman planted the first fruit trees about 1911 and started selling fruit at a roadside stand in 1915. Over the decades, the business has expanded by adding orchards from neighboring farms and creating new product lines such as Sweet Apple Cider and Homemade Apple Butter.
