About Us

Allied Music Instructors is an academy of music established in 2003. AMI has two locations in the Knoxville area (Farragut & West Knoxville). There are 11 teaching studios at our two locations and we have lessons six days a week (Monday-Saturday). The management of AMI has worked in music education since 1989.

What We Offer

AMI teaches the most popular instruments (piano, guitar, drums, bass, & voice). Instruction in music theory and composition is also available. Many instructors can teach multiple instruments, so lessons for other instruments may be available, call 865 675 4443 for more information. Teachers at Allied Music Instructors are screened, trained and experienced. Private lessons are available on all instruments that we teach. Special small group programs, such as the Childbloom Guitar Program and the Mayron Cole Piano Method are also offered. AMI has ensemble programs, like the Knoxville Bella Corda (a guitar ensemble for young guitarists). In 2013 Rock Band Class will be added.

Who We Teach

Allied Music Instructors offers music lessons to students age five thru adult. Beginners thru advanced. Never had a music lesson? Thats okay we work with lots of beginning students. Our instructors can help you get started following your musical dreams while building a solid musical foundation.
