Rodolfo Gari

Board certified in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Rodolfo Gari is an expert in combining medical knowledge with successful business strategies. With notable achievements in the health care industry and as an entrepreneur building startup companies, he specializes in business development, strategic and tactical planning, and health care efficiency. Currently, Dr. Rodolfo Gari serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gari Enterprises Investments, a company managing the investment assets and operations of Gari Family Office.

Dr. Rodolfo Gari began his career in medicine working as an anesthesiologist. In 1996, he founded the Tampa Pain Relief Center, where he served as CEO. Three years later, he started Anesthesiology Professional Services, which provided outpatient anesthesia services. In 2001, he created Surgery Partners, an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) that subsequently grew to be one of the largest ASCs in the state. Over the next eight years, the three companies expanded from a single office into multiple sites around Florida, employing over 400 people and making more than $120 million in revenues. At the end of 2009, Dr. Gari sold Surgery Partners Holdings and its affiliates to H.I.G. Capital and embarked on a career as a financial entrepreneur.

Dr. Rodolfo Gari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida College of Business, where he specialized in finance and entrepreneurship. Dr. Gari supports the charitable work of The Children’s Home in Tampa and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in addition to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity International. In his time away from work, he enjoys fishing, bicycling, and playing basketball.
