Acting in the most professional manner, I will talk with you to gather as much information (history) about the area that needs my attention. We will work together to see what has caused your condition and work out a plan to get you where you want to be, whether that is a pain-free situation, a relaxation response, better range of motion, a quick rebound from an intense workout or better function from a specific muscle strain. I will leave the therapy room in order for you to get comfortable on the treatment table (almost always under a sheet/blanket). With the most effective modality I will use what I know of my body work skills, and within your pain comfort, to create space in the body where space seems compromised, from injury or posture (relative to our plan).
