#1 - First off, we are trying to save our historic Train Depot, built here in 1908 and restore it to have Amtrak make regular stops there. There has not been passenger rail service to this town since 1981 and there is growing momentum to change this and get regular service once again to our town, it's an important project one one the locals want to see happen, it would also serve approx. 870,000 Canadians who live in the lower mainland as our depot is just south of the US/Canadian border.
