Gold Star Containers was founded by Lou in 2005, after several decades in the removals and storage industry and becoming frustrated with the notion of double handling household furniture and its expense to clients. Lou purchased a few shipping containers & a container forklift to use as permanent storage at his own facility. It was from this humble start that he realised the multitude of uses a container can have.

Since it’s inception Gold Star Containers has achieved so many things including:
• storage of household goods, cars, machines, antiques & offices from overnight to over 10 years
• relocated household goods, antiques, custom built cars, heavy duty machinery, unique art, pianos, custom installations, gym equipment and so much more from all over the country
• pioneered in the region - self loaded/do it yourself container relocations
