Don't cry because it's over......SMILE because it happened. This is the hardest sentence I've ever had to write.  We are officially closed as of today.  We will be contacting everyone who has a reservation to refund your deposit.  If you are already on our property, you are welcome to stay until your scheduled departure date.With this being said; the staff at The Lake Whippoorwill KOA would like to thank you for sharing part of your life with us. Whether it was one night, a weekend, a week, or a season, thank you.It was our intent to make sure you have had a fun and a relaxing time and to make you feel like this was your home away from home.  It has been great to meet so many of you; sharing your camping stories, where you have been, where you are from, what your plans are, was always so enjoyable. The best we heard from so many of you, was what a great campground this is and how friendly we have been, AND you are coming back. “Keep up the good job” was a common phrase from so many of you. Thank you for that.We all have appreciated having had the opportunity to work with you. Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided all of us.
