This is a very down to earth furniture store. We bought a couch and chair on sale and could not understand how they can have such nice furniture at such good prices. We dealt with the owner who really worked with us to find what we were looking for in living room furniture. I would recommend this furniture store to anyone that wants affordable quality furniture for their home.

Beginning with the time we entered into the store, to the delivery and set up, our experience with GH Johnsonfurniture has been excellent. We definitely would shop there again. We just love our new bedroom set.

Excellent affordable prices on good quality kitchen furniture.This is a large store with lots of variety. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, even fun. Mark was definitely helpful running around helping us pick out what would match well all while not being over bearing. 5/5 for me. Walked out with a lot more than I thought I could get for my budget.

We love our new couch and recliner. We were very impressed with the delivery service. It was a nasty and rainy day, and our new furniture was thoroughly wrapped and protected from the rain. Two wonderful gentlemen did a great job getting them in the house in difficult conditions. Thanks VERY much! We will shop with you again.

This place is great, found some excellent items for our new place! Matt out sales guy was very helpful and spent time to make sure we found what we liked and fit within our budget! No pushy sales tactics just good information on the brands we liked and sizes that would work for our new place. Going to be coming back as we want to do our bedroom next.

If you want to buy furniture that is affordable you have to go to GH Johnson. I have been coming here for years to buy home furniture and just bought to great leather chairs for the TV room. Still impressed at the service and care that we get every time we shop here. Thanks again to Pat and the family at GH Johnson.

We shopped for quite a while to try and find nice furniture at a good price. We tried the big box stores but could never find anything we liked. We were going to the brick furniture store and while we were on Dupont St we passed an interesting looking furniture store called GH Johnson. We decided to go in and have a look and were surprised to see a large store with lots of furniture that we immediately liked. Price was the issue, so we picked some living room furniture out that looked really good and then when we saw the price we could not believe the affordable furniture that we thought was way more expensive. I wanted to do a review because I think this store is a really good find.

We went to the summer sale at GH Johnson and bought some really nice dining room chairs and a mattress as the prices were so good. We weren’t looking for a mattress but needed one and when we saw what was offered we had to buy. A good sale on furniture is rarely as good as the advertising but we were knocked out at the selection of furniture on sale. We are going back to buy a coffee tables next as we looked at a floor model that were priced so low we have to get it.

Great place with huge selection of dining sets. I was able to make a decision within minutes of what color and surface to pick. Prices are notably cheaper than other furniture stores around the area and the quality is amazing.

I bought my whole dining room set from them and I am really pleased with all the pieces purchased. I was surprised by this furniture store, no sign out front, it looks like other business at the location but in the main part of the store is a large furniture showroom. There was a good selection of styles and furniture pieces that look to be of good quality and the prices were decent. I never knew they sold furniture but now I know a good furniture store downtown Toronto and I recommend you visit them as well.

We had to do a review on how much we enjoyed the sales person and how helpful they were and not at all pushy. Matt was patient and answered all the questions we had, even about price margins on their furniture prices. This buying experience with GH Johnson felt really good. The couch took awhile to arrive (7 weeks), but that was within the delivery dates they told us. They did say custom orders do take extra time to come in from the manufacturer but the physical delivery of the furniture was on time and we are quite happy.

Purchased a beautiful living room set and was pleased with my salesperson who maintained good communication with us through the process until delivery. We have had trouble in the past from another store (waited over three months). Our furniture arrived on time from GH Johnson and looks beautiful so we are really pleased that we bought from this furniture store. We wanted to complement GH Johnson and we say that this furniture store is very reliable and good to deal with when buying furniture.

The prices are really reasonable for sectionals and the selection was very good if you are looking for a contemporary design. I have to tell you that the sales people were so good, no pressure and very helpful in finding me a living room couch that fit my needs. I am going back to buy more furniture!. Good selection and price, I recommend buying furniture from GH Johnson.

The salesperson was very helpful in finding me a couch for my living room. The prices are great. I had a picture of my living room and he helped to find a couch that would fit my condo space the best. I will go back to buy more furniture!. Good selection of other stuff I want. I went looking for bedroom furniture starting with mattresses then a bedroom set. It started off looking like this could be a costly adventure. I ended up at this furniture store because it is downtown and there is was, a good bedroom set, mattress included for a price that was perfect. Buying furniture in Toronto seems to have become a high priced decision until I walked into GH Johnson Furniture. I bought the couch I wanted right off the floor so I got a great price and they delivered it the next day. Thumbs ups to this furniture store.
