W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. was founded by W.R. Scott, known to many as Bill, when he opened the first branch in Edmonton, Alberta in 1967. Our family-owned company has expanded over the years into 3 branch locations – Edmonton, Airdrie/Calgary and Red Deer. Since our founding, we have maintained our focus of both providing the best in personalized customer service and developing strong relationships with our suppliers, partners and customers. Specializing in the sales, rental and service of compact equipment. In addition to the Mustang® manufacturing product line we have expanded our equipment offerings with the full Takeuchi line.

Bill Scott passed away in 2009. His daughter Marilyn Scott has stepped into his hard-to-fill shoes and carried on the family tradition by maintaining the many relationships he built with customers and suppliers. Marilyn’s background consists of working for her father while she attended high school and during her years at the University of Alberta.

Marilyn obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree and worked for the government of Alberta in various positions of increasing responsibility in the department of Alberta Apprenticeship and Career Development. Marilyn now manages all 3 branches of W.R. Scott Equipment Ltd. and has carried on her father’s legacy.
