Shreveport Security is both a Louisiana licensed security company and a Louisiana licensed contractor.
In January 2015, Don Simmons decided to retire from the business, and his son Benjamin purchased the company. For the previous three years Benjamin had been acting as the Vice President of Operations. Under this leadership Shreveport Security Systems was nominated for and was named one of the finalists for the 2014 Customer Commitment Torch Award from the Better Business Bureau of Central Louisiana. That same year, Shreveport Security was voted the third most loved security company through Locals Love Us. In January 2016, Shreveport Security was awarded the Angie's List Super Service Award for the fourth year in a row.
