This is beyond the worst child care company I have ever witnessed. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The pumpkin club does not train their employees whatsoever before putting children in their care. They are not prepped for emergencies or informed of expectations and rules. There is currently a 17-year-old working as one of the preschool teachers. Since most of the day there is not a supervisor, administrator or assistant director, this teacher is being left alone with the kids.. and may I add there are frequently 20+ kids under the care of one teacher! Kids are being left alone in the classroom almost daily, and even walked out the front door on multiple occasions. The director and assistant director treat the kids horribly when there are not parents around. not only that, but they have an excessive rat problem (that they decided was too expensive to tend to) and for snack they provide the kids with old cereal and crackers (which have been sitting out open in the kitchen). Several employees have quit because of the unsafe conditions and the administrators unwillingness to meet health standards. parents have also complained and currently the Utah Department of Health is running an investigation on them after a large amount of complaints. The company is currently being audited. Dont be fooled by appearances, make sure your children are receiving high-quality care, not the lowest quality.
