West County Pediatric Dentistry

The idea of a pediatric dentist having their own office is not new. Dr. Ahmed was employed by a pediatric dental group through the years of 2003 to 2006 but she wanted something new, something different. And that’s when the idea of West County Pediatric Dentistry was first born.

Dr. Ahmed considered several options for her own office. One option was to purchase an existing pediatric dental practice in Creve Coeur, MO. While that had its advantages, Dr. Ahmed being an attention to detail type individual wanted to design and build her own practice and that lead to her next challenge: location.

West County Pediatric Dentistry started off as a project in Eureka, MO. After doing the demographic study, Dr. Ahmed thought owning Eureka pediatric dentistry would be the best move. But in looking for location and negotiating different contracts and locations including Wildwood and Chesterfield, Dr. Ahmed found her current location in Ballwin and that started the growth of West County Pediatric Dentistry.

After securing the location (near Chesterfield, MO) in 2006, Dr. Ahmed started the design and construction of this new office. As you can see by these pictures, the design process was a step in itself. We started with the logo. Trains have always been a fascination and an interest of Dr. Ahmed and while she has dabbled in model trains, when it came to the office logo, the one word that came to mind was “train”. And from there we had the logo designed for a great pediatric dental destination that children would enjoy.
