Very Cool and very good food
This Harry's (one of three locations) is located with an overlooking view of the Rail museum. The dinner entrees are very impressive. I personally suggest the Pork Chops.Restaurant
Excellent dining in the old Union Station Area. It would be a good idea to call for reservations especially at the dinner hour. They have a nice variety on the menu - reasonably priced for the area.NO REFUND POLICY
High prices, third-rate entertainment, food that is good, to mediocre, to poor, flip a coin. As is customary complain and the management will attempt a quick fix?but you will still pay the bill regardless. Do you enjoy Dr. Shevegas? I hope so because that is the best band that plays there. I surmise most people go because of convenience like 7-Eleven they don?t care about the price or the service. Finally the management will side with the help over the customers in disputes. Drinks are $10-$15 final bills frequently approach $150.00 do you feel lucky?Bad Management
I had a wedding reception booked at Harry's West. My invitations were out, RSVP's were received, and HW closed. I was not notified, until after calling several times for info on our reception. Harry's Downtown called to break the news and not once apologized. Only offered for us to come there. No discount was offered. No money back was offered to fix our invitations that were now ruined. I gave a deposit and was told I'd get it back. A month after the wedding, I still have yet to see that deposit that I wrote in November. My husband called mgmnt asking for reimbursement and the manager said we'd have to talk to the owner who was conveniently out of town. He asked for the owner to call him, to which he got "He will have a lot of these calls when he gets back, so he might not call for a while", which she was right. He didn't bother calling at all. I finally contacted them again one month after the wedding asking for my deposit back. I was told several times it would be mailed back to me. But I was now informed that if I did not receive it back by now, it was ripped up. Probably bc they lost it or deposited it. Management is absolutely horrible here. They did nothing to fix what they ruined. You have a good experience at a business, you may tell one or two people. You have a bad experience....look what happens! Thanks Harry's. I would like to share my May 14 2011 experience.Drinks had virtually no alcohol.
This is my first time writing a review. I just had to do it to warn people of the incredibly weak and expensive drinks at Harry's. I rarely drink, so it doesn't take much to get me buzzed. I had 2 mixed drinks and wasn't feeling a thing. The sad part was the two drinks almost cost $20 with the tip. I even went to a different bartender after the first weak drink.
