I rented from Carol & having to chase after her to secure an apartment I loved & knew I lose was the first sign I should have not even bothered. I only rented for 6 months, but when I had another (wonderful) tennant take over my lease WITH Carol's enthused permission, Carol LIED about the condition of the apartment & kept my security deposit, saying it was too late to reevaluate the condition as there was already another renter in the space. She also said my deposit was going towards "cleaning fees". She also called me a liar, saying I caused certain damages, when the damages were already there when I moved in (cigarette burns & I'm a non-smoker, specifically. And light bulb burns from bulbs that were there when I moved in - I obviously didn't need to change bulbs after being there only 6 months). So I just wanted to make sure this was out there. Fck you Carol "Missy" Martin!
