You Must Read This Before Renting I have been renting with this company for almost 4 years. After renting the unit, we realize that there are a lot of important and not so important things that need fixing. Problems like the A/C, Rusted Nails sticking out in our walkway to the kitchen, the lights in the hallway are always burnt out and the steps are dangerous without lighting up to our unit. There has been times when the heat was out 48 hours and we were in the coldest days of the year reaching temperatures below 25-30 degrees in a building that has little insulation. There was Hot water every other day and the bad part is that the Heat and hot water was included in the rent that we pay every month. We are fed up and ready to get out this place. They do offer a buy out program where we forfeit our deposit and we personally rent the place for them if they cannot. That's Great, but Here is the problem.... I only got a few days notice to when I needed to be out of the apartment entirely. This gives me 4 days to be out of a place with little to no warning. When I expressed my concern and explained how I never agreed on a date, nor did I sign the buyout, I got an abrupt answer saying that I would have to sign another year lease which makes no since when we automatically signed one a few months back. The buyout program gives us the option to get out ANY MONTH we choose and forfeit our deposit as shown above.
