Franks West Pizzeria
Our family thoroughly enjoys Franks West Pizzeria. The pizza is always baked wonderfully. Not only do they have great pizza, but they also have a fabulous menu as well. It is worth checking out!

If you like New York style pizza, eat here
Just having moved here within the past several months, I've noticed a disturbing trend of mediocre restaurants being rated as "exceptional" by the locals. Fortunately, Frank's West bucks this trend. I ordered two pies for my family--a plain cheese for the vegetarian child and a pepperoni/bacon for the carnivore husband. Both were excellent. The crust is thin and buttery and there was not an overabundance of sauce. My son called it the best pizza he's had in Richmond. However, it doesn't taste EXACTLY like NY pizza (probably due to the most disgusting water supply in the nation!) and being south of the Mason-Dixon line. :)Worldwide > United States > Richmond, VA > Italian Restaurants
