Kouri's Pub
Kouri's Pub is your standard bar and grill. It's definitely on the smoky side, but there's a large patio with seating if the weather is warm. They've got a decent tap selection and some great chicken ...Great Food
Don't let the shabby exterior scare you away. Kouri's has great pub food and comfy setting. They have lots of TV's for sports viewing but the place can get rather loud - not a choice for an intimate date. At busy times, you have to stay on the wait staff or tip in advance.Dirty place with redneck manager in Sterling, Peoria IL
Very dirty, with insects on the tables, toilets dirty. Manager, gray hair, short, with glasses in the 40-50s, very unfriendly, unable to smile, a kind of redneck with strange look, kind of KKK from Pe...Best Sports Bar in Peoria
Kouri's has a great Beer Garden in the summer months. It's a good place to meet friends and family. The food is excellent and the help is always happy to see you. The bartenders Kevin and Pat make the place. Both are fun and entertaining and serve some of the best dinks this side of the Mississippi. My recomendation is when in town stop and enjoy the placePeople looking for good service beware.
I used to think that Kourie's was a great place to go, untill the service started to decline. I must say when the bartenders take more time helping there ego by trying to appease their lady friends than actually serving even there regular customers, something is not right. Kevin being the worst of this has often been found boasting of his fighting skills. I hope for the owner's sake something is done about this.homey atmosphere
I have never had anything short of a great time and great experience at Kouri's Pub in Peoria. I know Kevin very well and think Jay either a) has a man crush and got turned down b) is jealous that he can't fight and has no exceptional skills or c) Kevin beat him up. As far as the bartenders paying more attention to their lady friends than Jay-probably he is a horrible tipper. Regular customers are on a first name basis with the staff only perpetuating the friendly home town atmosphere. The food is delicious and I challenge you to find a better ribeye sandwich anywhere else. Jay- instead of picking on other people you should work on your own personality and maybe people will like you better. One of the better sports bars and gathering places in the area
I have been going to Kouri's Pub a couple of times a week for years. They just moved a block up the street and the move seemed stressfull for all. Thanks to the staff, they have kept their regulars and brought in new patrons. They now have 18 new high-def bigscreen tv's and redid the place nicely. A little more work and they should be finished. The food is good and the service is excellent. They treat everyone like family. I agree with kourisgirl thoughts on Jay. I've never known Kevin to intentionally ignore someone wether they tip or not. And I've never heard him brag about his "fighting skills". If someone asks he answers honestly. Usually he tries not to have it talked about. He has always been very friendly and tries to make time for each person. He either knows you by name or what you drink and has always said hello and goodbye to all and most importantly...he says Thank You. Jay, if you felt ignored it was because other patrons were trying to talk to him. Or maybe you were being an a** and he had to ask you to leave. As in most places you always get someone that gets out of line and he has always taken care of it quickly and profesionally and as far as I have seen with none of his "fighting stuff" you talked about. That's one of the reasons I feel I can take my family there and feel safe. As for hitting on the ladies, well his daughter works there and I am sure she and his wife would strongly disagree. Yeah, the ladies must like his belly....lol. All in all, if your looking for good food a friendly atmosphere and place where you can enjoy yourself.....Try Kouri's. And make sure Kevin is there and you will enjoy it more!bad place, dirty, insects on the table, unfriendly manager
I been in this place once or twice. Tables were not clean, I saw insects, and toliets were kind of dirty. A guy who looked as manager - late 40s-50s, gary haired, glasses, short - was not able to smile, and had a kind of red neck attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody traveling to Peoria. There are many other way better places in Peoria for food and friendly environment. I was very disapointed, specially with that manager's attitude.LOVE this place!! I sooo...enjoy the beautiful firepit (:
thank you kouri's for giving us a warm*inviting*wonderful place to relax & enjoy a cigarette w/our drink(which go together!!!) I can NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!!!! A++++++++++++++++Worldwide > United States > Peoria, IL > Korean Restaurants
