What a bad experience
I should have known better than to go to a doctor who relies on infomercials to "sell" his procedures. Sure Dr. Abergel seems nice but I really felt like I was less of a patient and more of a cash cow. The wait is terrible - I spent over 30 minutes in the waiting room. That was 35 minutes past my appointment (I got there early). the doctor took about 5 minutes to talk to me then gave me a laundry list of procedures he thought I'd need/want. All told I was looking at about 30 grand. His Restalyne shots are very pricey and he claims that his procedures are unique, but they aren't. I do not recommend this doctor! I said goodbye to the $200 consultation fee and never looked back!

Looking My Best & Loving It
In years past I have had some questionable cosmetic procedures performed by physicians who were either sloppy or inexperienced. The results have not always been pleasant and some have actually left me with permanent damage. The good news is Dr. Abergel performed a laser mini-lift for me 18 months ago and I'm enjoying the outcome. His laser technique left me with a natural appearance, not a stretched or exaggerated look. I healed quickly with no scarring, and best of all I almost immediately saw a younger-looking difference. Mine was a most pleasant experience. Since my procedure, I have enjoyed facials at his office too. The facials are a rejuvenating, relaxing experience. I have also been using Dr. Abergel's facial products on my skin since my procedure. I have not ever found any other products that give me the same results as his line of cosmetics. They are without fancy packaging, perfumes, and dyes. I definitely look forward to a return to Dr. Abergel for future treatments or procedures. He is a meticulous, caring physician whose experience and knowledge I very much value. The same can be said for his medical assistants and office staff. I highly recommend Dr. Abergel to anyone who cares about their appearance and wishes for a successful outcome of their cosmetic procedure.

Best Results Around
I was beginning to look old and tired. I saw Dr. Abergel on TV late one night and decided to call the next morning. I am so glad I did! I had very baggy and puffy eyes so the first procedure I had done was laer eyelid surgery. It was so easy and I had absolutely no pain and was able to go out the next evening. Doing that made me feel so much better about myself that I decided to do a laser peel, facial sculpture and arm liposuction. The results have been unbelieveable and I feel so good that I even lost 40lbs. When people see me that can't believe how good I look. People that I had not seen in a long time don't recognize me at first. I would recommend Dr. Abergel to everyone and I do. I now go to have facials at his office and I also use his products. I have never regretted going to see Dr. Abergel.

Nightmare Experience
I went to Dr. Abergel in a very vulnerable state. I had recently turned 40, and didn't like what I saw when I looked in the mirror. I answered an add in the LA Times and went to see Dr. Abergel. One of his available procedures was a deep chemical peel. The only research I did was to find that he was board certified and considered to be one of the top plastic surgeons in town.I had the chemical peel which left me with scars and acid burns on my upper lip and forehead. Dr. Abergel refused to admit that the procedure had not been successful and later refused to honor my contract that stated that he would be responsible for any corrective treatment. He insisted that the burns, leaving loss of pigment on my face were caused by the sun and refused to apologize for his botched job. In retrospect, I realize that I was foolish to choose such a drastic procedure, but it is up to a Doctor to steer a patient in the right direction. I have consulted with other doctors that say this procedure is too risky, and do not do it. I feel that Dr. Abergel was dishonest and incompetent.
