Foothills Weight Loss Specialists is the first surgical weight loss practice in the Knoxville area. Since 2002, we have helped more than 2,200 individuals lose a total of over 200,000 pounds – more than 100 tons – as a result of weight loss surgery.

We perform surgery for the treatment of obesity to improve health and overall quality of life. Many obesity-related conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, acid reflux, weight-bearing joint pain, and sleep apnea are improved or resolved following bariatric surgery.
