With the advent of its widely popular skin rejuvenation and laser treatments in 1998, Knoxville Dermatology Group opened its successful Medi-Spa in 2005. In 2010, Medi-Spa at Knoxville Dermatology Group opened a second location at the LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tennessee.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL SPA?

A medical day spa (or medi-spa) offers more services and medical expertise than the typical spa. For example, medical day spas provide medically based consultations and treatments at the skilled hands of licensed health care professionals, medically trained aestheticians, and medically trained therapists.
