Established in 1987, Bottsford's Vein and Laser Care was the first vein care center in the Upstate of South Carolina. Dr. John Bottsford founded the practice in order to make the most recent technologies and advanced services available to local patients suffering from vein disorders. With the closure procedure, varicose veins are eradicated non-surgically and patients return to normal activities within a few days instead of the 6 weeks needed for ligation and stripping of veins. Bottsford's Vein and Laser Care also provides comprehensive and expert treatment options for cosmetic vein problems, including sclerotherapy for spider and larger varicose (reticular) veins and micro-phlebectomy for removal of large veins through tiny, almost imperceptible incisions.
