Mesa County Fairgrounds at Veterans Memorial Park is the quintessential place for all your fairgrounds and especially equestrian needs for the Grand Junction Area.

We cater to a variety of events which include the following -

- Equestrian and Livestock shows
- Rodeos and Concerts
- Banquet facilities
- Receptions
- Concerts

All these events are coordinated around our main fair that takes place in July.


The Mesa County Fair showcases everything that is Mesa County. The Fair is organized each year by the Mesa County Fair Board with tremendous help from our area's agriculture community, Mesa County Government, 4-H, Future Farmers of America, our many sponsors, and local businesses. We are grateful for their continued support.

Our Mission Statement -

The Mesa County Fair is an annual celebration of the county, its residents, community and history. The Fair creates an environment that promotes the diversity of the area and features family oriented entertainment, educational opportunities and is a showcase of local products and services.


Vendor applications are available on our website as we showcase over 500 events per year. We have only a short window of time (a few weeks from mid-July to mid-August) to host the Fair in order to allow local exhibitors to qualify for the State Fair, which happens in late August. We try to make sure we are not hosting our Fair the same week as neighboring counties, but most Fairs all around the state are held during this time. The Fair has grown dramatically in the past view years, and our crowds have grown in number too.
