This guy told me my gasket was causing my vehicle to leak tranny fluid, but only because I had previously speculated that I thought that is what the problem was. I wanted a professional opinion, just to make sure it wasn't something worse. He didn't even bother to look. He charged me $60 to tell me it was the gasket, then after I paid him, took the car home and bought the new Automatic Transmission Filter Kit, jacked the car up, got under it, and immediately noticed how loose the bolts were on the pan. I didn't need a gasket at all!!! I tightened the bolts and guess what... NO LEAK! This guy flat out lied to me, probably thinking I would leave the car with him to have it "fixed". This is the first time I've ever caught a mechanic in a bald faced lie like this, and I just want everyone in Fruita to know, this man is dishonest and will rip you off!
