Pelican Coast Farms Inc is the business name for the website Orchidsamore.com. I ordered a Psychopsis orchid in spike last month and received the plant in bad shape. It was shipped in a 2 3/8" wide USPS box while the plastic pot itself was 3.5" in diameter, so the poor plant got squeezed out of the pot during shipment,got over-stressed, now the roots have started to die, the flower spike has turned brown, and the baby growth has also died. One of the big leaves also got cracked during shipment (not an old crack). I filed a complaint to the BBB about this and the owner (Mr. Meola) does not want to replace the plant or provide a refund. Very bad business practice and customer service. Please avoid purchasing from this nursery unless you guys want to get the same miserable treatment and stress I have gone through.
