This is certainly one of the best coffee shops out there. I like that they have a lot to offer in here and I am looking forward to try everything that they might have.
Delicious Breakfast in LA!
The best breakfast you can find in Los Angeles. Nothing better than waking up in the morning and stuffing your face with food that will keep you satisfied for the entire day!King's Road Expresso Bar-Cafe is fan-freakin'-tastic
Do you like a kickin' cup of coffee? I went in on a Monday morning last week, and asked the waiter for a red-eye. He told me, you don't really want to do that... He told me that the coffee was strong enough. So I acquiesced and let him bring me a cup of the house coffee and I ordered the Kings Road Eggs Benedict. What can I say, both were fantastic. The coffee, as advertised, was incredibly strong and flavorful. The Eggs Benedict was scrumptious. The dish is served on a croissant instead of the boring English muffin, and the taste is altered for the better. If you are over in that neck of the woods, and looking for a cool place to have breakfast and a good cup of coffee, this is the spot. The price is probably in the higher range ($28.00 for two cups of coffee, a bowl of fruit, and an eggs benedict), but the taste and service are well worth it.Perfect
Great french toast. Great location. Great service. Free/Non-Meter parking on the side road. This place has everything that's usually lacking at LA restaurants.best coffee
great cup of coffee at kings road. great location. great breakfast. thus...long waits on sat/sunbest coffee in l.a.
the best place to sit is outside, otherwise you'll be yelling above all the other voices inside. it's a small palce, so yeah, if you come on sat or sun during lunchtime you'll have a bit of a wait, but the food is good and a great value for the $$. their chicken sandwich is delicious as are their salads. but the coffee....you can't get it better anywhere in town. it makes starbucks taste like dirty water in comparison.Very good food- healthy and original
Everything I've tried here is quite good and it's a great spot for breakfast and lunch, though I've never tried dinner so...Their omelettes are tasty and full of rich yet healthy goodies. Their salads are amazing- get a 1/2 order--even that is huge! I work close by so I've had a few different things but my favorite by far is the Chipotle Chicken Salad- it doesn't come with much chicken though, so keep that in mind- literally less than a serving, but tons and tons of good green stuff. The rotisserie chicken is my least favorite and the Ahi tuna is really good, and that's something I don't usually care for. I've never loved the coffee, but many do, and it is strong. The service is friendly but the food comes just under the wire of being able to enjoy one's lunch hour without worrying about being late!MY FAVORITE! Best Coffee!
Kings Road has the best coffee and biscotti ever! The muffins are good too. Also, the breakfast options are great values. BUT its more than just coffee/breakfast. They have the best tacos that come with a side cesear salad and the paninis are excellent as well. Definitely my favorite.GREAT sandwiches and atmosphere
sit outside at a sidewalk table- it's great for people watching. the sandwiches here are AMAZING! great ceasar salad too. kickass burritos. always good food.Love it
I live right down the street and I LOVE THIS PLACE!! If you are there for breakfast the Huevos are to die for. At night the Baja tacos are great. They will fill them with anything you want- chicken, strak, shrimp, lobster- they are awesome. The service is good, the people watching is good, and they have the best coffee in town.cozy weekend place
Perfect place for a Saturday brunch. It's a good place to relax outside and just catch up with an old friend. Service is friendly and food is great. What more could you ask for?If you're looking for a sunny spot with friendly service and great brunch, go here on a weekend morning.
On weekends, it's a great spot to people watch. Lots of hipsters and small families. The brunch is amazing and people come from all over LA for it. The omelettes are made with the freshest ingredients and they have much more to choose from, including fluffy french toast and more. The coffee is the best in LA. The dinner is average to good. But the service is almost always great. The prices are reasonable. The location is great. A friendly spot to have brunch on a sunny weekend morning. A great place to take out of town guests, too.The coffee was great, but everything else was mediocre
We heard about this place from some friends and were excited to check it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were just disappointed by the service as well as the food. Although the hostess was very nice and found us a great table outside in no time at all, our server was not engaging in any way and seemed like he really didn't want to be there. The food was bland and we left wondering why our friends recommended this place. The one thing I will say, the coffee was the best cup I have had in Los Angeles. They make it one cup at a time, the way it should be. We may try this spot again in a few months, but for right now they need some work. The good times are over
I used to go to this place for breakfast a few years back, but after a few disappointing experiences stopped going. I decided to go back on a whim Sunday and can sadly report that things haven't improved. The first problem was that the service was slow. It was very busy (Sunday morning), and the staff were probably overrun, but it's been that busy every Sunday I've been so can hardly have been a surprise to the management. The home fries I ordered were not cooked properly and had to be sent back, and I swear that was one of the problems I experienced before. The lattes were good however. I hope they get their mojo back as it's a convenient and pleasant spot for a leisurely breakfast.BEST coffee in L.A.
Strong, wake ya up first thing in the morning, kinda coffee that packs a whollop. The food is very good but the service is a bit inconsistent. All in all, worth the (up to) 20 minute wait on the weekends for breakfast from wherever you are.Avoid the Cafe part
You can tell a place has been around too long when they stick a wide screen TV in the cafe and the barrista stands around flipping through the channels, unconcerned he may be annoying the few guests left. When I mentioned that people come to a cafe to talk, or read, or write and a TV detracts from that, he hollered to the guys in the back, "Hey, what channel is that program on?"best coffee hands down
I am a true coffee snob and this is the only place i will let pull an espresso shot for me in the entire los angeles area. the to go side is fast fast fast and the service is always super friendly!!!$10 Burger and Beer on Wednesdays
I went with a group of seven last week for their $10 burger and beer Wednesday night. The place wasn't too, too busy, so we were able to pull together three small round wooden tables for the group. It's not really deigned for large group dining. The waiter was hard to locate and the service was slow. You can choose from a veggie burger, salmon burger or regular burger as part of the special. Beers on tap are ok, not great - not a big selection. My friend said the salmon was dry and had to request more aioli. My veggie burger was a little burnt. The burgers come with sweet potatoes fries (more like dry wedges that really need ketchup) and a tasty little ceasar salad. Despite what might seem like a negative review, I think I would go back. I enjoyed the vibe - it had somewhat of a Euro cafe feel (right down to the detached but polite waiter). And I would probably order the same thing. So,if you're in the area and want to spend $12 (including tip) for a meal that will cetainly fill you up, then stop in. You won't be too disappointed, or too impressed.Best Brunch in LA!
This place is amazing...one of the best brunches I've ever had. The omelets are ridiculous good, the staff friendly, and the environment chill. Love it.I *heart* Kings Road Cafe <3 <3 <3
This is place was always packed every morning with a variety of people spilling out onto the sidewalk on both the cafe/takeout side and the sit down side. Got me thinking, I need to try this place.Delicious!!!
I love love love the lattes here, seriously every time I'm in the area I stop by. Sadly they're not in bigger cups but I think that's smart of the business, it's kind of like a crack-cocaine addiction (in a good way)...? I've been to brunch a few times and it's a bit scene-y with a wait but the food is delish. Highly recommend if you have the time to hang out/chill one morning.Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Cafes, Coffee, and Coffee Houses
