MASTER'S IS AN INDEPENDENT DISTANCE EDUCATION INSTITUTION providing Divinity School, Seminary, and Bible College programs that can be completed by distance education courses, online live classes, or brief residency seminars. Our unique combination of choices makes it possible to earn Undergraduate Certificates, the Diploma in Christian Ministry, the Associate in Ministry, the Bachelor of Ministry, the Bachelor of Arts, the Master of Ministry, the Master of Arts, the Master of Divinity, the Doctor of Biblical Studies, and the Doctor of Theology without being required to relocate. OUR HISTORY. The Divinity School was founded in 1999 by the leadership team of Christian Education Enterprises (CEE, Inc.). CEE, Inc. has been providing Christian education programs since 1979. One of the very early pioneers in online study programs, The Master's Touch Self-study Library was started in 1996. The goal was to create a totally Internet delivered learning center providing free and very low cost theological distance education courses to students around the world. In March of 1999, as a result of the success of the Master's Touch Self-study Library, Master's Divinity School and Master's Graduate School of Divinity were officially structured under the charter of Christian Education Enterprises, Inc. We were the first fully free-standing Internet-only theological school in America to be organized under the title Divinity School. In April of 2001, Master's purchased a state-of-the-art office complex. By 2005, Master's was providing academic programs to students in seventy world areas. In September of 2006, in order to keep pace with the changing nature of theological distance education around the world, the institution was renamed as Master's International School of Divinity.
