Terrible Customer Service and Business Morals
I recently went to the Wisteria Day Spa and Salon in Columbia, SC as a gift from family. Now let me say I have frequented some of the best spas in Denver, Colorado and Atlanta, GA, ones with national acclaims. I took a last minute appointment (that is what the store calls it when people cancel) where I was to receive a 20% discount on an elemental facial (it was to last 90 mins.) since I was going to be in the area that day. I confirmed my appointment and services when I checked in at the front desk. Well needless to say my facial was cut from a 90 min treatment to a 60 min. treatment. I was very disappointed. Not only this when I researched the price for the various facials I was charged full price for the aroma therapy facial I had received. To add insult to injury, they tried to mask it on my receipt by saying I had received an elemental treatment. If I had not paid attention to my receipt and the outline of services to be rendered during the facials, the staff would have gotten away with this injustice. I know there are other lovely spas in the area, so I would caution you in visiting this business and if you must go there to pay special attention to the services and charges because they have no problem with trying to "pull the wool over your eyes".

Bad place for Brazillian Wax
I went to get a brazillian wax done with a friend. It was a surprise and and was paid for by my friend. (I had originally scheduled my first waxing service to be done by Julie at Ah Sugar Sugar). I should have kept my appt with her. At Wisteria I did not get a mirror to see her work once she was done. Which now I know is very important, because I got home and there was still hair left. I called back and explained to them that I did not get what I paid for, which was a complete hair removal. I also had a coupon for 20.00 off your first time. Even with the discount I would not recommend any one to go there for a brazillin wax service. I will be going to Juile at Ahh Sugar Sugar, so she can completely remove all the hair like it was suppose to be done. Julie made me feel very comfort from the first time I spoke with her. Julie number is 803-315-3469. (Julie here I come, I will never stray again). Oh, Julie offers the 6th service is free.

I recently moved to Columbia from California. I am so glad I found out about wisteria because my visit last week was really memorable. I don't typically write reviews but something told me I should. I walked in and was instantly greeted by a brunette and wish I would've remembered her name. She was so extremely helpful! I came in to seek a product that would help me with straightening. The brunette recommended smooth infusion line and told me it would cut my drying and styling time and she was RIGHT! She took the time to describe all of the products and even though I didn't buy every single one, I was so happy when I left. I didn't know that it was a salon and spa, and when she was telling me about the services and details I sensed that she genuinely wanted to help me. She even gave me a tour! When she checked me out she sold me raffle tickets for an earth month cause. She even told me "make yourself comfortable" while I was waiting for my husband to come pick me up! I wish the salon I went to in California had people like her but now I'm glad I found a salon I can go to without feeling like I'm "just another customer".
