I love my house, but Shumaker Homes has horrible customer service! They messed up all of the lots in my neighborhood. They put my sod & my sprinkler head on the lot next to mine, & never fixed it. Their warranty department never returned my telephone calls. We have gone by their office & called numerous times about other issues, but no one returns our calls. They sold me a lot, with the neighbor's fence on it, & misrepresented the size of my lot. They have moved out of my neighborhood, & now, they do not keep up the common areas or the vacant lots. Now, we have a huge problem with snakes in our subdivision. The floors in my home started coming up a year after I moved in. I had to replace all of the carpet & the kitchen floor. The company has been kicked out of The Better Business Bureau due to the number of complaints against them & the number of unresolved complaints. I will never buy a home from them again & I would not recommend them to anyone!
