Mr. Friendlys is fabulous.
Mr. Friendlys is a great place for a date. The menu is find dining so don't expect any bargains but it is completley worth it. The food is excellent. The wine is abundant. I would go there for birthdays, anniversaries or any special occasion.

You often have to wait, but the wait is worth it!
Southern cooking with a twist...sure wish they took reservations! The pecan-crusted crab cakes are really yummy! Mr. Friendly's has a great wine list and fantastic service. This is a nice place to enjoy with friends or a date.

WOW!! Another winner!!
I have reviewed the other restaurant that these guys own (Gervais & Vine) and recently tried this place. WOW!! It's kind of an unassuming place, so when you see the menu and experience the friendly, professional service, you are just blown away. I had clients from Atlanta and they couldn't believe how good this place is. Two of us had their Filet Mignon with Pimento Cheese. OMIGOD! It wasn't cheddar, instead they used blue cheese and roasted red peppers and melted over the perfectly cooked Filet. The wine the waiter recommended was perfect (and they have a huge list, which is strange 'cuz this place is SMALL). We had two of their daily specials and couldn't believe we were eating in Columbia. DON'T MISS THIS PLACE!!

this is a favorite of locals and for good reason! the waitstaff is full of fun, knowledgeable folks who love food and wine. the owners are Ricky Mollohan (who also owns Solstice Kitchen & Wine Bar) and Harold Ham and both of these guys will make sure your experience is flawless!

In a class of it's own
If I ever want to impress myself with Columbia, I go to Mr Friendly's. Ricky and his crew are top notch. I loved on New Orleans for 9 years and the food and wine here are as good as it gets in Columbia.Worldwide > United States > Columbia, SC > American Restaurants
